Cosmetic Dentistry Services We Provide:
Teeth Whitening
White teeth are the first sign of excellent oral health. In our office, one of the top questions we get asked about is how to get rid of discolored teeth.
Here are some tips to get a white smile:
- Brush and floss daily.
- Have regular dental cleanings.
- Use teeth-whitening toothpaste.
However, sometimes those steps aren’t enough and you may find your teeth still have discolored spots.
While consuming coffee, red wine, or other dark-colored foods and beverages will lead to stains, your discolored teeth might also be a sign of:
- Natural aging.
- Tooth injuries.
- Thinning enamel.
- Certain medications.
Come in and make sure your discolored teeth aren’t a sign of something more! Professional teeth whitening is a painless procedure that provides instant results with no teeth sensitivity. It’s one of the simplest and quickest ways to get rid of unattractive, stained teeth.
Pearly white teeth can benefit your smile by:
- Boosting your confidence.
- Making you look younger.
- Improve your smile for special occasions.
At Daniel Sheridan DDS, we aim to give you a quality teeth whitening product no matter your individual dental needs. Who doesn’t want a whiter smile? Complete your look with a brilliantly white smile!
Porcelain Veneers
Dental veneers are thin, porcelain coverings that attach to the front surface of your teeth and used to help improve their appearance. They’re often made from porcelain or resin composite materials and are permanently bonded to your teeth.
Veneers can be used to treat several different cosmetic concerns including:
- Broken teeth.
- Chipped teeth.
- Discolored teeth.
- Smaller-than-average teeth.
With our high-grade veneers, you can easily get your teeth back in shape, fill in spaces, and go a shade or two lighter!
Veneers allow our dentists to control the change in color, size, and shape of your teeth. This ensures a highly customized smile as a result.
Some people get one veneer due to a damaged tooth, but many people get between six to eight veneers to create the most even and symmetrical smile possible. Most people will invest in veneers for the eight teeth in the front of the top row. That way they can achieve that perfectly symmetrical smile.
Why Should You Get Veneers?
- A color can be selected to make dark teeth appear whiter.
- They are stronger and better looking than crowns.
- They provide a natural tooth appearance.
- Porcelain veneers are stain-resistant.
- Gums tolerate porcelain well.
Am I a Good Candidate for Veneers?
Just about anyone is a good candidate for veneers. Some patients who are teeth grinders might find better success in other treatments, but even then, we can make veneers work. Veneers could work for you if any of the following apply to you:
- You seek a more unified smile.
- There are visible spaces in your teeth..
- You have teeth that are cracked or broken.
- The shape of your teeth allows food to get stuck.
- You want a more permanent solution to tooth stains.
Dental Crowns
Dental crowns are caps placed on top of damaged teeth. They are used to protect, cover, and restore the shape of your teeth when fillings won’t be strong enough to solve the problem.
We offer CEREC same day crowns made out of sturdy, sparkling porcelain. That’s right, you can get your crown placed in a single appointment! They typically don’t require special care over time other than regular good oral hygiene.
Why Might You Need a Dental Crown?
You may need a dental crown if you need to:
- Restore a broken tooth.
- Hold a dental bridge in place.
- Protect a weak tooth from breaking.
- Cover and support a tooth with a large filling.
- Protect a tooth that’s been treated with a root canal.
What Happens During the Process?
- Impressions and X-Rays: First, our expert dentists will measure your tooth or teeth. That way they can create crowns that are designed to suit your teeth specifically.
- Tooth Preparation: We will remove a small part of your tooth to make room for your crown and give it the best chance for success.
- Crown Restoration: Then our dentists will physically apply the crown to your tooth and adhere it to your tooth so that it will stay there.
You can expect the procedure to be comfortable, quick, and professional. You will be placed under local anesthesia while your teeth are prepared and the crown is applied.
Dental Bridges
Dental bridges are used to fill up the spaces between teeth. These restorations do as their name implies; they bridge spaces created by missing adjacent teeth with artificial teeth called pontics.
These artificial teeth create the appearance of a full set of teeth and restore the function of your lost teeth.
Missing teeth not only affect the way your smile looks, which can lead to reduced confidence, but they also make it more difficult to chew food and can affect a person’s ability to pronounce certain words. Having spaces between teeth can lead to poor teeth alignment as the remaining teeth try to close the space.
What Happens During the Process?
Bridges are customized restorations, and getting them often requires two trips to the dentist.
- First Appointment: Our dentist will prepare the abutment teeth for their crowns by shaving off some enamel. We will take an impression of your teeth to send it to our lab to make the bridges. In the meantime, Dr. Sheridan will fit you with temporary a temporary bridge.
- Second Appointment: It takes about two weeks for your customized bridge to get back to our office. During the second appointment, Dr. Sheridan will take off the temporary bridge and place a permanent bridge.
Good oral hygiene and a bridge threader are needed to keep these restorations in good condition.
Smile Makeover
At your appointment, Dr. Sheridan will discuss with you the changes you hope to see in your smile and how our office can accomplish them. He will come up with a treatment plan that is built for you!

We will then walk you through the treatment plan and what each procedure would cost. You will have a full picture of what to expect from start to finish.
Smile improvements can have a dramatic result on your overall appearance. Even the smallest change to your smile can boost your self-esteem and make you want to smile more.
With modern advances in technology and dentistry, cosmetic procedures can include:
- Repairing broken teeth.
